Healing.... not always as expected

It is a constant challenge in this work to step out of the knowing into the unknown and even moreso when you are called to describe the possibilities of this healing work. On the same level it is utterly refreshing when a client "gets it"!

I worked with a beautiful woman today who when asked about the benefits she had felt from her last healing session she quoted almost to the letter my own mantra - "sometimes its not necessarily the healing that your looking for that you get - it can come in so many forms!"

This particular client has suffered from severe neck pain off and on for 18 months, this has sparked a rather intense journey of self discovery for her and she has the understanding that a lot of her pain is due to unresolved past issues and that like the layers of the onion (yes that old chestnut!) she is slowly peeling away the pain is lifting in stages. WOW so so so so rewarding to work with someone who has this knowledge and quite humbling in a lot of ways as well.

So what has she experienced to date with our first healing session? an acute awareness of these healing energies and frequencies that have stayed with her over the past week - when she has a quiet moment to tap in they are there! The other profound thing has been her awareness of what is actually happening around her - ie her BS meter has been turned on and amped up! when someone is saying they are ok and that everything is roses - she is feeling what is really happening which is often not what is being vocalised - pretty cool huh?

In all of this she believes her pain has reduced somewhat considering the crazy busy week that she has had - she knows that in similar situations she has been quite debilitated when the stress levels have increased - this week its been bearable! YAY! what a wonderful outcome - after having just completed our second healing my client is now considering the benefits of doing a full reconnection and I am very excited about the new levels this will take her to - not only her healing but also her journey!
